Karin Delin

Karin is a consultant with over 20 years of international experience in advising and supporting governments and organisations to plan and manage complex programs on good governance, security sector reform and community safety.

As a Director at Siren, she is responsible for supporting organisational development and strategic planning processes of Siren’s client organisations.

Her experience at Siren to-date has included supporting police organisations in Lebanon, Jordan and Yemen in strategic planning and strengthening of systems for accountability and oversight. She has lectured on a number of international training programs about the prevention and response to gender based violence.

Karin has extensive experience as trainer and facilitator after having planned and conducted more than 200 workshops and seminars on strategic planning, project management and client centred consulting. She has worked with a wide range of institutions including the UN, EU, OSCE and DCAF-ISSAT, in addition to civil society actors and security institutions in many countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.

Karin holds a degree in Social Sciences from Stockholm University and Adult Education from Lund University. She is fluent in English and Swedish.
